DEFINITION OF TERMS

Parental Capability- it refers to a broad expression that

relates to a parent's ability to meet the needs of their

children. This also assess how parent’s capacity affect

their children especially in gaining knowledge even studying

at home.

Engagement- It's all about grabbing and holding people's

attention. It's all about making a lasting impression on

them and assisting them to improve their characteristics and

in reaching their full potential .

Home-based Learning- it usually refers to the type of

learning that student experiencing in this time of pandemic,

where studying continues at home. It provides advantages and

disadvantages to the students.

Parental Involvement- refers to the extent whereby a parent

participates in his or her children's education. It may

bring changes to the children’s behavior and help to make

them feel motivated, increases their self-esteem and improve

their attitudes.
COVID-19- it is a deadly virus who brought a big impact and

change to the world. It affects including the education of

the students.
