What are the ways you can help protect the environment (e.g., individual, community, and
global)?
Student’s Answer:

Our Mother Earth is currently suffering a slew of environmental issues. Global warming, acid rain, air
pollution, urban growth, waste disposal, ozone layer depletion, water pollution, climate change, and other
environmental issues were affecting every people, animal, and nation on the earth. Flooding is the most
prevalent natural disaster in the Philippines since there is so much waste everywhere, and we always use
plastics.

As individuals, we should always practice the 3Rs: reuse, reduce, and recycle. Instead of plastic, I use eco-
friendly bags, etc., and encouraging others to do the same is another way I safeguard the environment.
We also have to conserve water and electrical energy properly. And if we can, we have to let our
neighborhoods have activities like planting trees and a clean-up drive.

We can also use social media to spread awareness and tell people to protect our mother earth. Our
environment is our home. That's why we have to preserve and protect our nature and don't let it ruin it.
