ABS-CBN controversy is such a big blown to press freedom and we all know that it has
something to do with our human rights; An issue like this left an opening for the social science to
develop one’s knowledge and now since we, the countries who signed, have human rights granted to us
through the international law, human rights is relative to political science. It encompasses everyone
since we’re all under a government of some sort, also, the study of the interactions between the people
and the state is something that both sociology and political science aims to do.

Applying these learnings in my life and sharing my thoughts and opinions about a particular
issue in the society will help someone and something to change. Knowing its importance, I realized we
should thank our ancestors for these studies because our world is now continuously growing with
knowledge and peace.
