3. How would you differentiate each characteristic from the rest?
Goal Oriented- it describes that the management should always aims at
achieving organizational goals or adjective. Pervasive- it describes that the management is used in the whole world. Multidimensional- it describes that the management is a management of work, people, and operation. Continuous Process- it describes that the management’s planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling are performed by all the managers all the time. Group Activity- it describes that the management cannot function or be performed in isolation. Dynamic Function- it describes that the management has to make changes in its goals or its way on how to compete to adapt and to survive on the current era. Intangible- it describes that the management’s function cannot be physically seen but its presence can be felt. Composite Process- it describes that the management’s functions must be performed in a proper sequence because it is dependent to each other. Balancing Effectiveness & Efficiency- it describes that the management should be effective and efficient in achieving its objectives using its resources in time.
4. As a student, how would you best apply these characteristics in classroom
management?
As a student, I would engage my fellow students or classmates in a meeting
wherein we will discuss some thing like having clear expectations, effective time management, positive work environment, and firm discipline inside the classroom. Also, by having consistent routines, fair rules and fair consequences for us to follow. Through these, my fellow classmates will be able to do their parts at their best performance.
