Intent behind this activity:

This activity is intended towards helping the

child explore and understand the concept of
temperature. The child uses his/her/their
tactile sense to discriminate temperatures.
The thermic sense of the child refines
through analysis and verbalisation of
experience. The thermic sense takes the
tactile sense a step further and teaches the
child to distinguish temperature. This will
help the child improve their understanding
about their surroundings, language,
reasoning and analysis.
