Based on your answers in the career wheel, explain how your assessment of your life's

circumstances guides you in making decisions in your career choice as an adolescent.

How are you going to prepare for that career choice?
The assessment assisted me at a given point in time to identify and evaluate every factor and
circumstance in my life that I may determine the following educational or vocational choice in
the sequence that makes up career development. This assessment helped me to understand
the circumstance in my life and, most importantly, myself. It also helped define aspects of
myself that I may not already have a good sense of, and this may save years of making less
than ideal choices about my career direction and focus. Moreover, this helped me focus on the
most important to me and choose a career that will help me feel fulfilled, satisfied, and
grow. Though we can't make our next decision easy, if we work through this process, we'll be
more likely to avoid common mistakes and take the best next step you can. Hence,
assessments are crucial to assisting individuals with their exploration of careers.
Furthermore, in preparing for the career choice, I should identify the degree of effort and all the
things required, especially to succeed in my chosen career. This includes the specific
educational and experiential requirements; how will I best obtain the qualifications etc. These
will then help me identify and set relevant goals. Having established the career goals and
defined the tasks to achieve them, I may set up a timing and sequence outline. Finally, put into
action the long- and short-range goals and monitor my progress. So, I will do my best, never
procrastinate, and grab every opportunity, significantly expanding my knowledge.
