 Provide insight on the trends noticed on sales.

We have done Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) of the entire dataset and provided

RECOMMENDATIONS
Tobacco has the highest sale – Introducing a discount voucher for Food, Beverage, Liquor, Merchandise and Miscellaneous
products on every purchase of Tobacco would enable these existing customers to buy products in the other categories as well.

December has increases sales, hence Café should plan on accommodating the increase in demand and also introduce redemption
points on December shopping points in the other months to increase the return of customers across the year.

Peak sale time is mostly around evening and night and morning hours have negligible sales. Café shall also plan for discount on
providing the morning bill during evening to ensure we are not losing the potential customers.

Saturday sales of Food, beverage and tobacco is highest, Café shall again introduce redemption points of these sale value during
weekdays to increase footfall during weekdays.

It is observed top selling items are same across the hours of the day. Café shall consider combining these items as a Combo pack
with lesser selling items to promote sales of all the items.

Jan to June there seems to be a decreasing trend in Sales – Introducing loyalty points, Combo deals should be promoted during the
period

July and August also see a sudden spike in Food, Beverage and Tobacco – Café should ensure to capitalize the demand with enough
stock and redemption points for increased sale during this period during the following months.

Café should eliminate the items which do not have demand from the menu and introduce new items basis the current demand.
