Jimdo
A WYSIWYG web hosting service. It offers free, professional, and business web hosting services.
It also has an iOS and Android app which you can use to manage your website whenever you do not have access to a PC.
DESIGN
COLOR THEME – allows the user to modify the color theme
FONT SET – allows the user to modify the font size and style
BUTTONS – allows the user to select pre-defined buttons
ANIMATIONS – allows the user to select pre-defined animations
EDITING ELEMENTS
A. Show elements – allows the user to insert the following elements into a block depending on the block design
1. Title text – allows the user to insert a Title Text
2. Image/Video - allows the user to insert a Image/Video
3. Text - allows the user to insert a Body Text
4. Primary button - allows the user to insert a Primary button
5. Secondary button - allows the user to insert a Secondary button

B. Block design – these are theme templates that allows the user to edit the content for the following:
1. Cover - insert cover template
2. About - insert about template
3. News – insert news template
4. Text – insert body text template
5. Image – insert single and multiple images template
6. Slideshow – insert a slideshow of images
7. Columns – insert a column template a combination of images and body text.
8. List – insert a list template
9. Banner – insert a banner template
10. Music – insert music template
11. Booking – insert a booking template
12. Menu – insert a menu template
13. Contact – insert contact template and some templates has map.
EDITING ELEMENTS
C. Copy – used to copy element
D. Delete block – used to remove the element
E. Duplicate– click and drag the element to a valid part of the page
F. Move block up – used to move the element up by one level
G. Move block down – used to move the element one level lower

1. Dashboard – allows you to view the other website you created with Jimdo and edit them.
2. Design – allows you to change your template, style, background, and even customize your template.
3. Pages – allows you to edit and go to the pages created.
4. Store – This contains the orders made on your site if you placed items available for purchase.
5. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) – enables people to easily find your site using search engines.
6. Publish – allows the user publish, and share the web page.
7. Upgrade –setup plans to your web site, and helps you to create domains and emails that your site use.
8. Assistant – premium feature that allows you to ask questions to the Jimdo support team.
KEY TERMS
WYSIWYG – an editor that allows you to create and design web pages without any coding knowledge.
HTML – stands for Hypertext Markup Language.
CSS – stands for Cascading Style Sheets.
Jimdo – a free website provider with a WYSIWYG editor.
Template – a ready-made design for a website.
Heading – the topmost label of a website.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) – a feature that maximizes the search engine optimization feature so visitors
can easily locate your website.
