FOREWARD
The 1962 Solemn Mass of the Latin Rite expresses the fullness of
Catholic worship, the fruit of 2000 years of organic liturgical development.
It is the "normative" Mass for Sundays and Feast Days for Traditional
Latin Mass Catholics.
It is also expected that the faithful assist the Choir or the Schola, by
singing and chanting all the responses as indicated, as well as the Kyrie,
the Gloria, the Creed, the Sanctus, the Agnus Dei, and the Ite missa est.
This booklet may also be used for Low Mass, in which case, the Asperges
is omitted, there is no chanting nor singing, and the responses during the
prayers at the foot of the altar are made by the servers. The Leonine
prayers have been included for use at the end of Low Mass. Some
Selected Prayer and Devotions are also included as supplements that can
also be performed before and after the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

KEY POINTS TO REMEMBER
Communion in the tongue is the only way allowed for the communicants to
receive the Lord. No one is allowed to hold the Sacred Host except the priest.
Any other form of discipline is sacrilegious. Communicant should be in the State
of Grace,that is free from mortal sin, before receiving Holy Communion.
"The Holy Mass is a prayer itself, even the highest prayer that exists. It is the
Sacrifice, dedicated by our Redeemer at the Cross, and repeated every day on the
altar. If You wish to hear Mass as it should be heard, you must follow with eye,
heart and mouth all that happens at the altar. Further, you must pray with the
priest the holy words said by him in the Name of Christ and which Christ says by
him. You have to associate your heart with the holy feelings which are contained
in these words and in this manner you ought to follow all that happens at the altar.
When acting in this way you have prayed Holy Mass. Don't pray at Holy Mass,
but pray the Holy Mass."
Eternal Father, I unite myself with the intentions and affections of our Lady of
Sorrows on Calvary, and I offer Thee the Sacrifice which Thy beloved Son Jesus
made of Himself on the Cross and which He now renews on this holy altar: To
adore Thee and give Thee the honor which is due to Thee, confessing Thy
supreme dominion over all things, and the absolute dependence of everything
upon Thee, who art our one and last End. To thank Thee for innumerable
benefits received. To appease Thy justice, aroused against us by so many sins,
and to make satisfaction for them. To implore grace and mercy for myself, for all
afflicted and sorrowing, for poor sinners, for all the world, and for the holy souls
in Purgatory. Amen
Lord Jesus Christ who art so kind, no merits of my own invite me to the pleasures
of thy banquet table. I am a sinner and I come in fear and trembling
encouraged only by thy mercy and goodness. My body and soul are defiled with
many a sinful deed. My tongue and heart have run their course without restraint.
God of gracious kindness, whilst I tremble before thy Majesty, wretch that I
am, trapped in my own insufficiency, I still look to thee the source of mercy. I
hasten to thee to be healed and to seek refuge under thy protection. I yearn to
have thee as my Savior for I cannot stand before thee as my judge. Lord, I
show thee my wounds and uncover my shame before thee. My many great sins
are known to me and they make me afraid. But I hope in thy mercy which knows

no limits. Turn towards me thy merciful gaze, Lord Jesus Christ, eternal King,
God and man, crucified for mankind. Hear my cry of hope in thee. Pity one so
full of sin and wretchedness, for thou art the inexhaustible fountain of forgiveness.
Hail, victim who saves, offered for me and for all men on the gallows of the
cross. Hail, noble blood beyond price, flowing from the wounds of my crucified
Lord Jesus Christ and washing away the sins of the world. Remember, Lord, thy
creation which thou hast redeemed with thy blood. I am sorry that I have sinned
and I want to make up for what I have done. Take away from me then, Father
of mercy, all my badness and sin, so that clean in body and soul I may be
fit to appreciate this holy of holies. Grant also, that this offering of thy body and
blood, which in my unworthiness I am to receive, may forgive my sins,
cleanse me utterly of my crimes and dispel sinful thoughts. May it then revive my
holy desires, give me the saving strength to do what thou desirest, and
protect me securely against the traps of my enemies. Amen.
Almighty eternal God, thou seest me approach the sacrament of thine only
begotten Son our Lord Jesus Christ. I am like a sick man that comes to the healer
who gives life. Unclean, I seek out the clear spring of mercy. Blind, I come to the
light whose brightness is eternal. I am a beggar and I bring my needs before the
Lord of heaven and earth. I ask thee from the fullness of thy boundless
generosity to cure my sickness, to wash away my filth, to give light to my
blindness, to enrich my poverty and clothe my nakedness.
Do all this so that I may receive the bread of angels, the King of Kings and Lord
of Lords, with all the reverence and humility, the contrite devotion, the pure faith,
the awareness and purpose that the salvation of my soul demands. I beg thee,
grant that I may receive not only the outward signs of the Lord's body and
blood but may also share in its true reality and power.All-gentle God, grant
that my reception of the body of our Lord Jesus Christ taken from the Virgin
Mary, may make me part of his Mystical Body and one of his members. Most
loving Father, thy Son whom I now intend to receive is hidden from me in this
mortal life; grant that I may gaze upon the revelation of his face for all eternity:
who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever.

THE ASPERGES
The Asperges or sprinkling with holy water may be performed every Sunday
immediately before High Mass. This water is blessed before the ceremony. The
priest who is about to celebrate High Mass enters the sanctuary vested in alb and
stole (and sometimes in a cope) of the color of the Mass, accompanied on his left
by an acolyte bearing the vessel of holy water.
Arriving at the foot of the altar the priest, while intoning the following anthem
sprinkles the altar three times, then himself, and afterward his assistants. Then he
sprinkles the congregation. On Passion Sunday and on Palm Sunday the Gloria
Patri after the psalm-verse is omitted. In Paschal time (Easter Season) the
Asperges is replaced by Vidi Aquam.
ASPERGES me, Domine, hyssopo, et THOU shalt sprinkle me, O Lord, with
mundabor: lavabis me, et super nivem hyssop, and I shall be cleansed; Thou shalt
dealbabor. Miserere mei, Deus, wash me, and I shall become whiter than
secundum magnam misericordiam tuam. snow. Have mercy on me, O God, according
to Thy great mercy.
V. Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiri tui
Sancto. V. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,

In Paschal Time

Confitemini Domino, quoniam bonus: Praise the Lord, because He is good; be-cause
quoniam in sæculum misericordia ejus. His mercy endureth forever.

THE ORDINARY OF THE MASS
The choir sings the Introit to begin the Mass. Meanwhile the priest and ministers
recite the preparatory prayers at the foot at the altar. When the priest enters .the
Sanctuary, stand until he begins the prayers at the foot of the altar. Then kneel.'
Bowing before the altar, the priest makes the sign of the cross:
JUDICA ME
(Psalm 42)
In a Missa Recitata (Dialogue Mass) the faithful may join in saying the
server’s responses and also in reciting with the priest those prayers.
The Judica Me is omitted in Masses for the Dead and from Passion
Sunday until Holy Saturday.
V. JUDICA me, Deus, et discerne causam V. JUDGE me, O God, and distinguish
meam de gente non sancta; ab homine mycause from the nation that is not holy:
iniquo et doloso erue me. deliver me from the unjust and deceitful man.
R. Quia tu es, Deus, fortitudo mea:quare R. For Thou, O God, art my strength: why

THE CONFITEOR
Joining his hands humbly bowing down the Celebrant says the
Confiteor.We must purify ourselves before we approach God: the priest
makes a public avowal, taking as his witness the Church triumphant and
the Church militant.
Now the servers and the Congregationbows down and say the
Confiteor.All accuse themselves of having sinned. May God’s mercy,
the inyercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Saints, and the
Church’s absolution cleanse our souls.

V. Misereatur vestri omnipotens Deus, et V. May Almighty God have mercy upon
dimissis peccatis vestris, perducat vos ad you, forgive you your sins, and bring you to
vitam æternam. life everlasting.
R. Amen. R. Amen.
The Celebrant joins his hands and gives the absolution. All will make
the Sign of the Cross as the priest gives the absolution. The word
“Amen”, given in answer to these and to other prayers, indicates that
all those assisting subscribe to the petitions in the priest’s prayers.
V. Deus, tu conversus vivificabis nos. V. Thou wilt turn, O God, and bring us
R. Et plebs tea lætabitur in te. to life.
V. Ostende nobis, Domine, misericordiam R. And Thy people shall rejoice in Thee.

The people are standing while the priest goes up the altar and saying silently.
AUFER a nobis, quæsumus, Domine, TAKE away from us our iniquities, we en-
iniquitates nostras: ut ad Sancta sanctorum treat Thee, O Lord, that with pure minds
puris mereamur mentibus introire. Per we may worthily enter into the Holy of
Christum Dominum nostrum. Amen. Holies. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

He kisses the Altar in the middle where the relics of the Saints are enclosed
saying silently:
ORAMUS te, Domine, per merita WE beseech Thee, O Lord, by the merits
sanctorum tuorum, quorum reliquiæ of Thy Saints, whose relics are here, and of
hic sunt, et omnium Sanctorum: ut all the Saints, that Thou wilt deign to
indulgere digneris omnia peccata mea. pardon me all my sins. Amen.
Amen.
THE INTROIT
Moving to the Epistle Side, (to the right of the tabernacle) the
Celebrant makes the Sign of the Cross and recites the Introit
antiphon which varies according to the Mass being celebrated.
THE KYRIE
The priest returns w the middle of the altar and says, alternately with the server:

The Celebrant kisses the Altar and turning toward the faithful says:

THE COLLECT
The Celebrant returns to the Missal and sings the Collect Prayers
appointed for the day. The Collect means the collected prayers of all
the faithful assisting at the Holy Mass.
THE EPISTLE
The priest next reads the Epistle, or Lesson, from the Mass he is
celebrating.The Epistle is a reading taken from the Bible and teaches
some truth Gos wishes His people to Know and practice. Once the
Epistle was read, the server says:
The priest, returning to the middle of the altar, bows down, his hands
joined, and says the Prayer before the Gospel. The Missal is moved to
the Gospel side. The incense is blessed and the Munda cor meum is
said by the Celebrant (unless there be a Deacon).
THE GOSPEL
The Gospel is then sung while the people stand. With the priest, †
Make the Sign of the Cross on the forehead to show our belief in the
Gospels, on our lips to showthat we respect It in speech over our
hearts to show that we love it.
At the end of the Gospel, the Celebrant kisses the book, saying:
Per evangelica dicta, deleantur nostra Through the words of the Gospel, may our
delicta. sins be blotted out.
At the end of the Gospel, the assistants and the people says silently
Then the people will sit at the Homily and stand for the Credo. The Credo is our
public and solemn Profession of Faith.

THE CREDO
Crucifixus etiam pro nobis: sub Pontio Pilato He was also crucified for us, suffered under
passus et sepultus est. Et resurrexit tertia die, Pontius Pilate, and was buried. And on the
secundum Scripturas. Et ascendit in cælum: third day He rose again according to the
sedet ad dexteram Patris. Et iterum venture Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and
est cum gloria judicare vivos et mor tuos: sitteth at the right hand of the Father. He will
cujus regni non erit finis. Et in Spiritum come again in glory to judge the living and

The Offertory marks the beginning of the Mass of the faithful. The
Priest ask God to receive his offering of bread and wine.The choir
sings the Offertory Antiphon, which is recited silently by the Celebrant
at the middle of the Altar. The bells are rung once. The Celebrant
takes the paten with the host, and offers up the host, saying silently:
Making the Sign of the Cross with the paten, he places the host upon
the corporal. Going to the right side of the altar, The wine and water
are poured into the chalice, the Celebrant blessing the water before it is
mixed, saying silently:
DEUS, ☩ qui humanæ substantiæ O GOD, ☩Who in creating man didst exalt
dignitatem mirabiliter condidisti, et his nature very wonderfully and yet more
mirabilius reformasti: da nobis per hujus wonderfully didst establish it anew; by the
aquæ et vini mysterium, ejus divinitatis esse Mystery signified in the mingling of this water
consortes, qui humanitatis nostræ fieri and wine, grant us to have part in the
dignatus est particeps, Jesus Christus Filius Godhead of Him Who hath deigned to
tuus Dominus noster: Qui tecum vivit et become a partaker of our humanity, Jesus
regnat in unitate Spiritus Sancti Christ, Thy Son, our Lord, Who liveth and
Deus: per omnia sæcula sæculorum. Amen. reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy

Returning to the middle of the Altar, the Celebrant takes the chalice and
offers it to God, saying silently:
He makes the Sign of the Cross with the chalice, and placing it on the corporal,
he covers it with the pall. Bowing down, he says silently:
THE INCENSING
What is offered unto the living God is: Bread, Wine, We ourselves, the faithful.
Hence the three-fold gift unto God is incensed, because all the faithful, through
this offertorial act, have become holy unto God. The Celebrant now blesses the
incense.
INCENSUM istud a te benedictum MAY this incense, which Thou halt blessed,
ascendat ad te, Domine: et descendat super O Lord, ascend to Thee, and may Thy
nos misericordia tua. mercy descend upon us.
Then he incenses the Crucifix and the Altar while reciting Psalm 140

Returning the thurible to the server and says:
ACCENDAT in nobis Dominus ignem sui MAY the Lord enkindle within us the fire
amoris, et flammam æternæ caritatis. of His love, and the flame of everlasting
Amen. charity. Amen.
The Celebrant is now incensed followed by the clergy and the faithful. The
faithful will stand for the incensing
THE LAVABO
The Celebrant then goes to the Epistle Side of the altar andwashes
his fingers, while reciting Psalm 25.6-12 silently. The priest washes
his fingers to symbolize the purity and inner cleanliness of all who
offer or take part in this great Sacrifice.The Gloria Patri is omitted in
Masses for the dead and in Passiontide.
LAVABO inter innocentes manus meas: I WILL wash my hands among the
et circumdabo altare tuum, Domine. Ut innocent, and I will encompass Thine altar,
audiam vocem laudis: et enarrem universa O Lord. That I may hear the voice of
mirabilia tua. Domine, dilexi decorem praise, and tell of all Thy wondrous works. I
domus tuæ: et locum habitationis gloriæ have loved, O Lord, the beauty of Thy
tuæ. Ne perdas cum impiis, Deus, animam house, and the place where Thy glory
meam: et cum viris sanguinum vitam dwelleth. Take not away my soul, O God,
meam: in quorum manibus iniquitates with the wicked, nor my life with men of

Bowing down before the middle of the Altar, he joins his hands, saying
in silence. This majestic prayer of offering to the Most Holy Trinity
states in detail the particular purpose for which the Holy Sacrifice is
offered.
He kisses the Altar; then turning toward the faithful he says the first two
words aloud and then faces the Altar while concluding the prayer
silently. Feeling his unworthiness, the priest turns to the people and ask
for their prayers.
ORATE fratres: ut meum ac vestrum PRAY brethren, that my Sacrifice and yours
sacrificium acceptabile fiat apud Deum may be acceptable to God the Father
Patrem omnipotentem. Almighty.
R. Suscipiat Dominus sacrificium R. May the Lord accept the Sacrifice from
demanibus suis ad laudem et gloriam thy hands, to the praise and glory of His
nominis sui, ad utilitatem quoque Name, for our benefit and for that of all His
nostram, totiusque Eccle-siæ suæ sanctæ. holy Church.

THE SECRET PRAYER
Then with hands extended, the priest says the Secret prayer in silence for it is
here the priest acts as a mediator speaking directly to God on behalf of man. The
Secret Prayer is the completion of the Offertory and introduces the actual
oblation of the Sacrifice in the great prayer of the Canon. Their order and
number are the same as the Prayers will be found in the proper' in each Mass.
Then priest then concludes aloud while the faithful stand on High Mass:
THE PREFACE
VERE dignum et justum est, æquum et IT IS TRULY meet and just and profitable
salutare, nos tibi semper, et ubique gratias for our salvation, that we should at all times
agere: Domine sancte, Pater omnipotens, and in all places give thanks unto Thee, O
æterne Deus: Qui cum unigenito Filio tuo, holy Lord, Father almighty, eternal God;
et Spiritu Sancto, unus es Deus, unus es Who, together with Thine only-begotten Son,
Dominus: non in unius singularitate and the Holy Ghost, art one God, one Lord:
personæ, sed in unius Trinitate substantiæ. not in the oneness of a single Person, but in
Quod enim de tua gloria, revelante te, the Trinity of one substance. For what we
credimus, hoc de Filio tuo, hoc de Spiritu believe by Thy revelation of Thy glory, the
Sancto, sine differentia discretionis same do we believe of Thy Son, the same of

sentimus. Ut in confessione veræ, the Holy Ghost, without difference or
sempiternæque Deitatis, et in personis separation. So that in confessing the true and
proprietas, et in essential unitas, et in eternal Godhead, we should adore distinction
majestate adoretur æqualitas. Quam in persons, unity in essence, and equality in
laudant Angeli atque Archangeli, Majesty: Which the Angels and Archangels,
Cherubim quoque ac Seraphim: qui non the Cherubim also and Seraphim do praise
cessant clamare quotidie, una voce nor cease to cry out in one voice:

THE SANCTUS
The Celebrant again joins his hands, and bowing, says the Sanctus,
which the choir and the faithful sing at Solemn Mass. At the
Benedictus qui venit, make the Sign of the Cross. The altar bells
are rung three times at the Sanctus. The triumphal hymn of the
Angels is addressed to the Trinity.
Once the Sanctus was sung or recited, the faithful kneels and will rise before the
Pater Noster.

The Celebrant, bowing low over the Altar, begins the Canon saying silently:

The Communicantes prayer may differ on special feast days. (Please see pages
46). The Communicantes used here is for Sundays, Feast Days etc.

OBLATION OF THE VICTIM TO GOD
The priest extends his hands over the oblation. Here the bell is rung once. The
Hanc Igitur is replaced with a special Hanc Igitur during Easter and Pentecost
(Please see pages )

THE CONSECRATION
QUI pridie quam pateretur, accepit WHO, the day before He suffered, took
panem in sanctas ac venerabiles manus bread into His Holy and venerable hands,
suas, et elevatis oculis in cælum ad te and having lifted His eyes to heaven, to
Deum Patrem suum omnipotentem tibi Thee, God, His Almighty Father, giving
gratias agens, bene†dixit, fregit, deditque thanks to Thee, †blessed it, broke it, and
discipulis suis, dicens: Accipite, et gave it to His disciples, saying: Take and
manducate ex hoc omnes. eat ye all of this.
Now the priest, identifying himself with Christ, whose every gesture he
reverently reproduces, bows low and slowly but without pausing, the
words used by Jesus at the institution of the Eucharist on the day
before He suffered and died.
The Celebrant genuflects, adores the Sacred Host while the Bell rung
once. Rising, he elevates It for the veneration of the faithful and the
bell is rung three times. When the priest elevates the Sacred Host, look
at it, adore it and say devoutly and silently;
The Priest then placing the Sacred Host on the corporal, again adores It and the
bell is rung once. After this, he never disjoints his fingers and thumbs, except
when he is to take the Host until after washing his fingers at the ablutions afer
Communion Then, uncovering the Chalice and takes with both hands, he says:
SIMILI modo postquam cenatum IN like manner, after He had supped, taking

The beginning of the Gospel of St. John, which traces the Incarnation

until now committed, as also for all those that have been committed against Thee,

passion. Calmly recall the different occasions of sin which have fallen in your way,
or to which your state and condition in life expose you; the places you have

consider the circumstances which alter the grievousness oj the sin, nor the various
ways in which we become accessory to the sins of others.

resolutions you made at your last confession or have you paid no heed at all to

AFTER EXAMINATION
Having discovered the sins of which you have been guilty, together With their
number, enormity, or Such circumstances as may change their nature, you should
endeavor to excite in yourself a heartfelt sorrow for having committed them, and
a sincere detestation oj them. This. Being the most essential of all the dispositions
requisite jar a good confession, with What humility, fervor, and perseverance
should you not importune Him Who holds the hearts oj men in His hands to

THE RITE OF CONFESSION
Approach the confessional with the same recollectedness and reverence as would
fill your heart if Christ our Lord were seated there in person ready to hear your
confession. The priest is really the representative of Christ. Once in the
confessional, say:
“Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. It has been - (state the length of time) since
my last confession. These are my sins.”
Then tell your mortal sins and the number of times committed. If you have no
mortal sin to confess, then confess the venial sins you have committed since your
last confession.
When you have finished telling your sins, you should say:
The priest now gives the necessary advice, assigns your penance and asks you to
say the Act of Contrition. Then wait and listen as the priest gives the absolution.
Accept with submission the-penance imposed, and if any obstacle that you
foresee will prevent your accomplishing it, state this respectfully. While the priest
pronounces the words of absolution, endeavor to excite an act of perfect
contrition. Should your spiritual Father deem it proper to defer absolution,
acknowledge your unworthiness, and do not murmur.
Then say“Thank you, Father”,then leave the confessional and then perform the
penance assigned by the priest and resolved to use every effort, by an amendment
of life and sincere repentance, to obtain God's pardon, which His minister will
ratify.”
ACT OF CONTRITION
O MY God! I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my
sins, because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all
because they offend Thee, my God, Who art .all good, and deserving of all my

reparation for all the defects of my life, and my secure refuge at the hour of my
death. Be Thou, O Most Merciful Heart, my justification before God Thy Father,
and screen me from His anger which I have so justly merited. I fear all from my
own weakness and malice, but placing my entire confidence in Thee, O Heart of

The more the imitation of Thy virtues is neglected and forgotten, the more we
shall endeavor to practice them, O Heart, model of every virtue!
The more the devil labors to destroy souls, the more we shall be inflamed with
desire to save them, O Heart of Jesus, zealous Lover of souls!
The more sin and impurity destroy the image of God in man, the more we shall
try by purity of life to be a living temple of the Holy Spirit, O Heart of Jesus!
The more Thy Holy Church is despised, the more we shall endeavor to be her
faithful children, O Sweet Heart of Jesus!
The more Thy Vicar on earth is persecuted, the more will we honor him as the
infallible head of Thy Holy Church, show our fidelity and pray for him, O kingly
Heart of Jesus!
O Sacred Heart, through Thy powerful grace, may we become Thy apostles in
the midst of a corrupted world, and be Thy crown in the kingdom of Heaven.

O Most Blessed Mother, heart of love, heart of mercy, ever listening, caring,
consoling, hear our prayer. As your children, we implore your intercession with
Jesus your Son. Receive with understanding and compassion the petitions we
place before you today...(special intention).
We are comforted in knowing your heart is ever open to those who ask for your
prayer. We trust to your gentle care and intercession, those whom we love and
who are sick or lonely or hurting. Help all of us, Holy Mother, to bear our
burdens in this life until we may share eternal life and peace with God forever.

O Mary, Virgin most powerful and Mother of mercy, Queen of Heaven and
Refuge of sinners, we consecrate ourselves to thine immaculate heart.
We consecrate to thee our very being and our whole life; all that we have, all that
we love, all that we are. To thee we give our bodies, our hearts, and our souls; to
thee we give our homes, our families, our country. We desire that all that is in us
and around us may belong to thee, and may share in the benefits of thy motherly
benediction. And that this act of consecration may be truly efficacious and lasting,
we renew this day at thy feet the promises of our Baptism and our first Holy
Communion. We pledge ourselves to profess courageously and at all times the
truths of our holy Faith, and to live as befits Catholics who are duly submissive to
all the directions of the Pope and the Bishops in communions with him. We
pledge ourselves to keep the commandments of God and His Church, in
particular to keep holy the Lord's Day. We likewise pledge ourselves to make the
consoling practices of the Christian religion, and above all, Holy Communion, an
integral part of our lives, insofar as we shall be able so to do. Finally, we promise
thee, O glorious Mother of God and loving Mother of men, to devote ourselves
wholeheartedly to the service of thy blessed cult, in order to hasten and assure,

ACT OF REPARATION TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY
O Most Holy Virgin, and Our Mother, we listen with grief to the complaints of
your Immaculate Heart surrounded with the thorns placed therein at every
moment by the blasphemies and ingratitude of ungrateful humanity. We are
moved by the ardent desire of loving you as Our Mother and of promising a true
devotion to Your Immaculate Heart.
We therefore kneel before You to manifest the sorrow we feel for the grievances
that people cause You, and to atone by our prayers and sacrifices for the offenses
with which they return your love. Obtain for them and for us the pardon of so
many sins. Hasten the conversion of sinners that they may love Jesus Christ and
cease to offend the Lord, already so much offended. Turn you eyes of mercy
toward us, that we may love God with all our heart on earth and enjoy Him
forever in Heaven. Amen
