MY ELECTRICA INVENTIONS: COMPUTER

We all have a favorite invention because all inventions are useful and made our work easy.
Those inventors we should be thankful at because they put their life and efforts on inventing things that
are useful today.

My favorite invention is computer. A computer is a machine that can be programed to carry

out sequences of arithmetic or logical operations automatically. The inventor of computer is Charles
Babbage, an English mechanical engineer and polymath, originated the concept of a programmable
computer. Considered the “father of the computer”, he conceptualized and invented the first
mechanical computer in the early 19 th century. Modern computers can perform generic sets of
operations known as programs. These programs enable computers to perform a wide range of tasks.

These days computers are tool for not only engineers but also, they are being used by
millions of people around the world. Laptops, hand-held devices, wearable tech, and desktops are the
most common computer types today. Also, computers are used for several purposes like online bill
payment, watching movies, or shows at home, online tutor, social media access, playing games, internet
etc. They help to avail work from home facility for corporate employees.

Computers has become very important nowadays because it is very much accurate, fast
and can accomplish many tasks easily. Otherwise, to complete those tasks manually much more time is
required. It can do very big calculations in just a fraction of a second. Moreover, it can store huge
amount of data in it. We can also get information on different aspects using internet on our computer.

All our daily life activities are based on online services and products which can only be
possible via computers. They have made it easier for us to communicate and easier to us to do many of
the everyday things that we must do to keep our lives in order. As a student computer helps me to learn
about the world and know what is happening in it. It helps me and all other students to aim for excellent
jobs in the future and succeed in it. Computers are useful, though we must keep in our mind to use it
properly and wisely
