files are stored in the browser inside the computer of the user
who made the visit to the site.

The primary data for cookies, are passwords and usernames.

When someone logs into their account on a particular site, their
login credentials are stored if requested. So that the option is
available on the login page and is often in the form of a checkbox
(checkbox), and its address is mostly "Remember me" or
"Remember me". When this option is verified, the login
information is stored in cookies, and the user will not have to
enter it again upon returning to the site.
Types of cookies:

There are 2 types of cookies:

- The first of which is session files, and are disposed of
immediately when the browser is closed.
- The second is persistent files, and this type, unlike the first type,
remains saved in the browser, and is not disposed of until after a
certain period of time has been determined for it before. This
period can be for several hours, days, months or years.

The noble purpose of websites using cookies is to collect some

simple data about users, in order to provide them with a better
user experience by improving sites, for example. Or provide the
required things to the user. There are other purposes other than
noble, so that cookies are created with the goal of creating a file
for the user. This file contains a set of data that any company can
benefit from, and a specific site can collect these files for users
and then sell them to other parties. This is why these cookies are
a suspicious, disliked item by users interested in protecting their
privacy.
Cookies Uses:

Cookies are frequently used by e-commerce sites. So that it

collects and maintains a set of data related to the user's behavior
while browsing the online store, such as remembering the
products he viewed or those he added to the cart.

Cookies and privacy issue:

Most browsers give users the ability to delete cookies that

websites save on them, and users also have the ability to prevent
websites from generating these files within their browsers. This
may be a good option for those who wish to protect their privacy,
but these files remain important and essential to the full and
effective functioning of most websites.
Consumers using the internet these days are not totally okay with
their data being shared to the third-party. Though sometimes
they prefer personalized products to be displayed to them
through digital advertisements and through e-commerce
platforms such as Amazon and flipkart, consumers sometimes feel
uncomfortable when advertisements get too creepy. Also many
countries across the world such as countries from European
Union, are applying restrictions on the user data or cookies being
shared with the third parties.
It is high time that Marketers and advertisers find alternative cost-
effective ways to achieve their financial objectives while
depending upon less third-party cookie data for their marketing
campaigns and digital advertisements.
