Functional Roles

In order to execute on [Company Name]’s business model, the Company needs to perform
many functions including the following:

Managerial Functions

 General & administrative functions including legal, marketing, bookkeeping, etc.

 Sourcing and storing ingredients

 Hiring and training staff

Kitchen Functions

 Food preparation

 Ongoing menu creation and modification

Food truck/Retail Functions

 Order taking and fulfillment (for take-out and dine-in)

 Customer service

 Janitor/maintenance personnel to keep the food truck clean

Personnel Plan

Because we will open 24/7, the personnel plan calls for a minimum of one cook and one assistant who
will greet customers, take orders, clean, and assist the chef each for the day shift and the night shift.

In the first year, assumptions are that there will only be four total workers in the food truck to execute

operations. As demand increases, we will purchase another food truck and hire two additional head
chefs and two assistants.

Key Assumptions

1. No major change in macro-economic or political situation. 

2. We assume a slow-growth economy, without major recession.
3. We assume our product, product quality, and social media marketing will generate
healthy growth in buzz and steady increase in sales
4. We assume efficient management of multiple sites
5. We will make the first food truck profitable before moving to the second. 
6. We expect expansion will cause a loss in our second year, but that it will be an acceptable
loss and we will have working capital to finance it.
