STUDENT AUXILIARY - UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF SOUTHERN

PHILIPPINES CHAPTER AS A BONA FIDE ORGANIZATION FUNCTIONING WITHIN
OUR AREA OF JURISDICTION AND FOR OTHER RELATED PURPOSES”

WHEREAS, the United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary (UAPSA)

University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) Chapter is the
duly recognized student organization of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP)
and the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP);

WHEREAS, Section 1 of Article I of the UAPSA Bylaws states that the name of
this organization shall be the “UNITED ARCHITECTS OF THE PHILIPPINES STUDENT
AUXILIARY”, and for purposes of these Bylaws shall hereinafter be referred to as
UAPSA.

WHEREAS, Section 1 of Article III of the UAPSA Bylaws states that a chapter of
the UAPSA shall be the extension of the national organization in the chapter’s territory
or jurisdiction;

WHEREAS, it is a declared policy of the City of Cagayan de Oro to promote and

protect the physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual, cultural and social well-being of the
Kagay-anon youth and to inculcate in them values of patriotism and nationalism and to
encourage their involvement in public and civic affairs of the city;

WHEREAS, Ordinance 13369-2018 otherwise known as the Oro Youth Code of

2018 is the legal manifestation of this policy;

WHEREAS, the same mandates the Oro Youth Development Office to register
youth organizations and youth-serving organizations across the city and provide access
to socio-political participation through the Oro Youth Development Council;

WHEREAS, the “UNITED ARCHITECTS OF THE PHILIPPINES STUDENT

AUXILIARY”, is a bona fide organization which has an active membership base and
whose advocacies included in Article I. Section 4 OF UAPSA by-laws which is project the
value and importance of the role of the architecture students in nation building;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE UNITED ARCHITECTS OF THE

PHILIPPINES STUDENT AUXILIARY, BY VIRTUE OF THE POWERS VESTED IN IT BY
LAW, IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, that it recognizes UAPSA-USTP Chapter as a bona fide
organization for purposes of local registration before the Oro Youth Development
Office.
 APPROVED BY THE UAPSA-USTP Chapter officers, in its meeting held on July
26, 2021.

FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution shall take effect immediately after
the complete accomplishment of the signatories.
