The relevance of the article is determined by contemporary technogenic society which considers

the world naivly as a given, without granting it with meaning and value. The phenomenological
description allows to show that there are nature, technics in general and architectural space in
particular. And also it shows what is the structure of human life-world. Our consciousness
constantly finishes perceived primary image without noticing this process. We maintain ongoing
phenomenological reduction, that is we direct our attention from the real objects (like
“Petersburg-as-it- actually-is”) to their images which are constitute by consciousness
(“Phenomena of Petersburg”). The purpose of the article is to demonstrate as description clarifies
meaningful designing of cultural phenomena.
