What I believe about this subject is that, I really don’t like it.

But when this class started I really

appreciate this subject simply because it was fun, it teaches us how to think logically, critically and
creativity.

In problem solving I learned that there are many different ways to solve a problem. And more
than one answer is possible, it involve the ability to explore. We think through an issue and the reason
logically to solve routine as well as non-routine problems, for example in real life when we get into
conflict, there are many ways to solve that problem.

In addition I realize that what I‘ve learned in this subject play a pivot role in our daily lives. Many
numerical data are used in influencing the decisions we make, we humans tend to rely on statistic when
making decisions. There so much application of mathematics involved in our daily lives ,we just have to
appreciate how math has benefited us in our daily lives. I would like to quote from the famous
mathematician, Arthur Benjamin, “mathematics is not just solving for x, it also figuring out why”.
