IF I WERE A KING, I WOULD DO THESE THREE THINGS FOR THE

WELL-BEING OF MY PEOPLE.

A king is a ruler and also a symbol of some country. Like Malaysia, we have

nine Sultans and they rotate five-year terms as Agong, the Malaysia term for king. It

would be great if I become a king for Malaysia.

If I had a chance to be a king, firstly I will strengthen the education sector of

our country. I will give free education to all the children, no matter their race or

religion. The free education applies from preschool to university. They will be given

free books and free lunches. I will also instruct the Education Minister to increase the

number of schools and teachers in our country in order to meet the educational needs

of our growing populations. I will also increase the financial allocation in the

education sector. I want all my citizens in my country to be well educated and

education is very important to produce a generation that can build and rule a glorious

country.

My next action if I were a king is I want clean environment for my country. I

want all factories and vehicles to comply the rules on how to dispose their waste. If

they break the law, they will be severely punished or fined in large sums of money.

People who throw the rubbish on the road or in the river should be punished as well.

The enforcement will take their actions and make the offenders clean the road or the

river. My wish is that Malaysia to be apart of the top cleanest country in the world on

par with other countries such as Switzerland and Finland.

Finally, if I were a king, I would ensure Malaysia will always peace and

harmony. Our country has various religions and races. I want all citizens in Malaysia

respect and understand each other. Perhaps all citizens can learn each other languages,

cultures and heritages. They can also visit each other during the festivals such as Hari

Raya, Chinese New Year and Deepavali. This can make us work together if there are

bad incidents happen to our country for instance, Covid-19 issue. A peaceful country

is a safe and fruitful country.

Hence, a good deed never dies. I want to be a king who is always

remembered and loved by the citizens. I hope Malaysia will always harmony,

prosperous and be a great country.
