Life and Family Planning

Family planning refers to an individual's or couple's ability to foresee and attain their
preferred number of children, including the spacing and timing of their births. It is issued a
recommendation to encourage couples to develop a reproductive life plan in order to avoid
unwanted pregnancies, improve women's health, and decrease negative pregnancy outcomes.
Having kids necessitates a large amount of time, social, financial, and environmental resources.
Planning ahead of time can help to ensure that resources are available. The goal of family planning
is to ensure that any couple, man or woman, who has a child has the resources necessary to
accomplish this goal.

When couples only have the number of children they desire, there are fewer children who
require educational and other community services. Children who are healthy are better at learning,
putting less pressure on schools and teachers. Communities that embrace family planning
programs strengthen their ability to provide public services while also improving the lives of their
families.

Family planning is also one of the most cost-effective and potent strategies for empowering
women and improving their lives. Women who have the ability to make decisions about child birth
are more likely to obtain a higher level of education and professional experience, as well as capable
of contributing to the economic health of their families and communities.
