A – Adolescence is the period of transition from childhood to adulthood

D – Different changes occurs to us during this stage


O – Our body undergo physical changes as we go through this phase
L – Little by little, we adjust to physical and social changes
E – Emotional maturity also increases, and relationships with peers change. Teens become
more vulnerable and emotionally intimate as they grow in emotional maturity.
S – Social and Emotional maturity are inextricably linked. Increased vulnerability and intimacy
necessitates greater peer trust.
C – Changes in the roles of parents happen when one undergoes adolescence.
E – Even when we are transitioning from being a kid to an adolescent, we still need our family.
N – “Never Easy”. It is never easy to be a teenager, and one way to conquer this is to treat
difficulties as challenges.
C – Challenges keeps a person going. We can improve through facing and overcoming the
challenges we encounter.
E – Ease the transition from being an adolescent and an adult. This can be accomplished by
practicing necessary skills while still at home.
