Activity Outline
Introduction Hello students. Today is our testing day, and we will be testing your knowledge of the stages of the butterfly
cycle. We have been going over this all week long and I expect big things. We are going to be using our fun
online testing app so be very responsible in how you handle your class iPad. It is time for you guys to show me
all that you know. Please get in a line to get your class iPad. After that, get a privacy screen and wait for me to
give you further instructions.

Activity Students, once you have gotten logged into your iPad, I want you to open your google classroom. I shared the
activity in our class, and it will automatically take you there when you click the link. Now you can get to work. I
am setting a 10-minute timer because it should not take any longer than that. There is a butterfly coloring
sheet and crayons at the end of each table for those of you who get done before the time is up. Stay quiet until
I tell you when it is time to talk.
Closure Just like I expected, everyone did great on this activity. The results were exactly what I hoped. I was watching
everyone’s progress during the test and saw that there was not a single question that most of the class got
stuck on. Pat yourselves on the back. Now it is time to put up our iPads. Please get in a line and meet me at the
cart to plug them in. Once you are done, get in line so we can have a bathroom break.
