The Victory Cry

 There are some doctrines that we have heard so much, they are exciting, it has made us feel
Jesus-like yet we are far from Him in reality.
 We should confront Ignorance to come close to God, because He is not God of the ignorant
 Functioning in ignorance pushes God away from you. Wisdom is for real Christians and God
gives it in abundance. Foolishness is of the demon. Have you ever read of anyone in the Bible
who God used while foolish? NONE. God wants you to be calculated, think and make a wise
move.
 The church taught us what they believe instead if God’s truth.

The issue of reading scripture without H.S is that you will end up drawing your own conclusions without
the author of the book. You should ask the Holy Spirit to guide you while reading to avoid creating
doctrines that destroys instead of building. You may end up taking death instead of life.

“the letter killeth, but the spirit gives life”

If you extract God’s word without His spirit, you’ll end up religious- playing church and not transformed.
You should be the church not playing church. Ignorance is the greatest enemy of a believer not the devil
(he is useless when you have knowledge of God). It is not the shouting while praying that delivers you,
but the knowledge of Jesus while shouting Him brings results. That is why some people shout “in the
name of Jesus” and nothing happens and they wonder.

The bible does not even say my people perish because of lack of prayer or anointing BUT says my people
perish because of lack of knowledge

Genesis 21:16-17

Haggai is crying but God doesn’t hear her. He hears the voice of the Lad. You notice God will hear you’re
your cry because of somebody not you. The boy is dying but God is hearing him instead of the mother
who is shouting. There is a way you can position yourself for God to hear you

You were taught that the amount of prayer you make is what gives you victory. FALSE. Victory is not
connected to your ability to prayer. Prayer is not bad, however, the Bible specifies that God will give you
victory because He has already fought the battle. Seek God who gives victory and stop wasting time.
Receive from God and He will give you victory.

Haggai’s cry was from a point of defeat-desperation, and not hope yet she was seeking victory. This is
the attitude of many Christians. You call on God yet you have already given up.
  You should know that victory is not sweet without a test. There is no testimony without a test

Who told you Jesus is not there with you when things are not going well? You have given up because it
has gone beyond your ability to control. However, know that the battle is always of the Lord, fought in
the spirit and not the physical. God can never lose.

You are fighting battles calling God, yet you are supposed to fight them through God. Paul says I can do
all things through Christ. Victory is given by God.

The cry of victory is internal (“Before they call, I’ll answer”) not external. God is not moved by your
loudness, there is something else. Prayer is good. But if it lacks revelation, you will barely move God.

 If you are not benefiting from your spiritual life, nobody else can benefit from it. If your
spiritual life does not produce any fruits. How will anyone have fruits from you? You can’t eat
from your own tree, how will other people eat from you?

When God is listening to somebody, He doesn’t listen to a desperate cry. Desperate means “I am lifting
my voice just in case I can be saved”

A victory cry is one that you are sure God has the capacity to hear you and save you. That is the one He
responds to, not the one that is crashed and hopeless based on “Just-in case I can be saved” Some of
you Christians make God your last option to avoid guilt. you are like “I tried to pray and its not working”
It is because you did not make God your first option, so He knows you are approaching as the last option
not the main Hope. Some of you if you had received the millions you wanted, you will have never been
to church/ or listen to His word.

Faith is the alignment of your belief to lips (what you say). Somebody can come and ask youhow are
you doing...and you say I am Ok yet deep down you are not. That way your mouth is controlling your
heart. and that’s how we are before God, which is wrong. That’s why Jesus said It is not what goes into
the mouth that defiles but what comes out of the man/ What comes out of you is what defiles the
mouth.

1. God hears the heart not the lips (Not desperation)

2. He responds to the deposit in you. God cannot allow His investment to be destroyed
3. The posture doesn’t matter. When you are in good or bad, God is capable of changing you
4. God works and responds to covenant. Which one do you have with Him?

Never make a covenant with God and you can’t keep it. It instantly puts you in a place where you
cannot operate with Him because He knows your future. The best covenant you can make is one that
you can be faith when he blesses you with
