Wh
at event in the life of Jesus is most significant that we need to celebrate as Christians?
Why?

We all know that every event in the life of Jesus is significant. We should celebrate it even
in just a simple way. But for me as a Christian, the most significant event that we need to
celebrate is the Holy Week and also the Christmas Day. I can’t choose between the two since
that’s the two celebrations that we really need to commemorate. Holy week reminds us
(Christians) of God’s sacrifice of his son, and also God’s love for his people. It celebrates God
raising his son Jesus from the dead and save us from our sins. Christmas is also one of the most
important event, since it is the celebration of Jesus’ birth. As a Christian, we should celebrate the
birthday of Jesus Christ even in a simple celebration. It doesn’t matter how simple we celebrate
it but we need to be reminded of the sacrifices of our Saviour for us. This is only a simple act of
appreciation and honor to Him.

2. Ho
w important is Sunday in our Christian life?

As Christians, we are obligated to hear the word of God by attending the mass every
Sunday. That’s the only day where we need to free our time for at least 1-2 hours. Not because
the 3rd Commandment state that we must honor the Sabbath, but attending Mass is also the first
order of the church. We have the whole entire week to work, learn and have fun. God only asks
for an hour for us to offer Him worship and thanksgiving. Even though, we are having a hectic
schedule it is our obligations as Christians to listen to His words and to the homily that can help
us to improve our spiritual growth. Also, it is the first day of the week where we can refresh and
time to connect and serve the God.
