Reflective Writing

A. Description
The drama tells the reader about very sad story. It is about father and his son.
Where the son has died. He died in a way to make his father happy. He will be the winner
on the swimming tournament. And it makes his father very regret, because he has no
much time with his son. He busy with his live, he just give a lot of money and facilities to
his son, not about attention, time, and love. Now he lives without his great boy, the
admire son. And it’s difficult for him.

B. Feelings
But I am interested with this story, there is a special thing in this story which the
main character in this story is abstract because he is doesn’t alive, he has died. And I am
very amazed to the author who can create the best story, it is unguessable story. Different
with the other story which very easy to guess. But one more thing, that the author is
success on how makes the reader cry. This is really sad story. It makes the reader cannot
move on, it gives a long sadness.

C. Evaluation
This story shows a very sad incident. But in my opinion this story is very good
because the author tries to give a good example. The characteristic of the main character
is very suitable especially for students. It will bring a positive value for everyone. But in
contrast this story give a ad experience about the attitude of father who less care to his
son. Although the author has a good intention, but it will raise up the reader’s emotion.

D. Analysis
This situation may happened in some people, but it is rarely, if the main character
till died. In my opinion this situation will be happen if parent didn’t care about their
children. Although they have a good aim to their children but they used the wrong way.
And it will be happen if there is no good communication. So, between parents and
children should have a good communication from one to each other. And also parents
should know and understand exactly anything related to their children.

E. Conclusion
If I become Mr. Corlin I would be the best father who always accompany my
children, my amazing children like Jeffrey. I wants to always with him till die. And stay
away from the lasting regret.

F. Action Plan
In future, I will become the best parent. I will build a good communication with
my children. And I will give a lot of love, because money and luxurious is not
everything, the most important thing is love. We cannot alive just with a money. But we
can alive just with love. So, we have to keep ourselves, our families, our environment,
with love!
