Need for project includes creating a meaningful career path for my future self.
Need Combining areas I'm in interested in to create and reach my dream job. (This can
be expanded upon later)

Figuring out what technical roles there already are in the fashion industry.
Scope Discovering new ways to expand said roles. Researching other people in these
positions and seeing how they got to where they are. Deciding on a spefic route
that I want to take. Creating a plan with steps to guide me to my long term goal.
(This will become more specific as time goes on)

Intent Figure out which exact role I want in the fashion industry and having a set plan to
achieve it. (Might need some feedback on this)
Period of Performance
Duration of 14 months. Start February 2021 and end May of 2022

Internal Stakeholders

My parents, my mentors, my friends possibly. TBD

External Stakeholder and

Interfaces

expections

To be organized and have everything tracked and written down. To complete my

work on time. To set a strict schedule to work on this project weekly. To work
hard and ask for guidance or help when needed. To communicate goals and
objectives effectively. (TBD since this isn't a group project)

requirements, memorandum, etc.) and/or sponsorship is this team
established? Also, what authorities relative to this team are either
undefined or missing that will need to be corrected?
List the person(s) who will approve the project charter

Short description of the need for the project. The why. What is the
driver for the project.
What are you no-kidding going to do? In general terms, what work must
be accomplished by this team in order for the need to achieve the
desired outcome that meets the need? It might be a good idea in
certain circumstances to also clarify what work will not be addressed
(because sometimes other teams might be accomplishing those
portions). This will be supplemented by the WBS artifact
This is what done looks like. This describes the desired outcome the
team is charged to create. This section is supplemented by the WBS and
IMP artifacts
When does the team start and finish (dates)? This section is
supplemented by the project schedule artifacts, the IMP and IMS
List the stakeholders invovled with the project. This does not have to
be extensive, but those that are most impacted or influencial to the
project being initiated. This section is supplemented by the
Stakeholder Engagement artifact
No project is an island. List who the project team will need to interface
with to accomplish the scope. This seciton is supplemented by the
Stakeholder Engagement artifact
Take the time up front to make sure your team is prepared for
potentially challenging conversations and circumstances. Not all of this
need be written down in the charter, but your team ought to talk about
the following and summarize the results:
1. How will your team establish and maintain mutual trust – especially
in terms of vulnerability -- among the members?
2. How will you stay outcome (versus problem) focused?
3. There will invariably be a diversity of viewpoints, which is a good
thing. How will you be respectful of others’ views?
4. How will you balance action and inquiry? There are times for both,
especially the latter.
5. How will your team promote routine and respectful challenging of
own and others’ assumptions?
6. What does it look like on your team to assume innocent intent of
others?
7. What simple rules will govern the conduct of team meetings? Think
especially in terms of simple rules that reinforce your teams rules of
engagement
8. How will you hold each other accountable when it comes to
delivering on promises and/or adhering to team rules of engagement?
9. How will conflicts be resolved? 10. How will
you maintain The Empowerment Dynamic (TED*) and stay out of a
Dreaded Drama Triangle (DDT)
List the resources that will be provided to execute the project, such as
infrastructure, contracts, material, etc. The section is supplemented by
the RAM/RACI artifact
List the members of the core team that will be instrument in exeucting
the project. Do not list members from other projects or functional
organization which the project might coordiante or inform. This
section will be supplemnted by the RAM/RACI artifact
List any other information that might be needed to obtain approal of
the project

The whole technical model would be affected because the
whole goal and plan would change. The original plan is to get
a job that involves both industries but if theres no role for this
then the original plan isn't possible. The schedule would
change because I would have to rearrange the plan to find
another career path and it would cause delays. Cost models
would be affected because if I'm unable to find another career
path then I won't be earning money and be able to cover
living expenses.
What I would do is watch and see if this is really something that I want to pursue, see if there is a good place for me in these ind
This would affect my technical model because again if I find
that this career path doesn't work and I'm set back then I'll
have to change directions which will also modify the
technical model. Deciding to switch career paths or modify
anything will definetely affect the schedule and msot likely
delay my plans. it will also imapct the cost model because
with time lost, I would also lose money.
I would hope to find something I'm really passionate about in these industries so I would have to take action and try to find so
This will affect my technical model because if I find something
I really like I will most likely stick with it so the plan and
model would stay in one direction. This will not affect my
schedule because if I find something and stick with it then I'll
just be on track with the schedule. It will also not affect the
cost model except the fact that I will be working and there
will be more money involved once I find something I really
enjoy.
