The BIRLA Professorial Chair in Asian Family Corporations recognizes the need to award research done

by students in the arena of Asian family businesses. These awards recognize research that can be applied
by practioners to address unique issues faced by Asian family businesses across various facets of the business. There
are three award categories: Bachelor’s thesis, Master’s thesis and Doctoral dissertation. The winners shall receive
their awards during the 2019 AIM Birla Asian Family Business Conference in Singapore where they will have the
opportunity to present the winning thesis or dissertation to the conference participants.
