The vacancies below are now available at Trigon Mining (Namibia, and all positions are
based in Kombat.

FITTER & TURNER ARTISAN X 2 BOILERMAKER

Reporting to the Engineering Foreman, the
incumbent will be responsible for maintenance,
preventative maintenance, and repair of all
mechanical equipment in the plant. He/she will be
responsible for the installation of new equipment.
Requirements
• Grade 12, completed apprenticeship technical
training program, Level 3 with Trade Diploma
and three (3) years relevant work experience as
an artisan, in the maintenance of equipment in
a mining environment.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is a prerequisite.
• Code BE drivers’ license.
FITTER & TURNER ASSISTANT X2
Reporting to the Fitter & Turner Artisan, the
incumbent will assist with maintenance,
preventative maintenance, of all mechanical
equipment in the plant. He/she will be responsible
for cleaning of tools, equipment, spares and
workplaces and carry out additional tasks if and
when required.
Requirements
Requirements
• Grade 12, with three (3) years relevant work
experience in the maintenance of equipment in
a mining environment.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is a prerequisite.
Reporting to the Engineering Foreman, the
incumbent will be responsible for the
manufacturing, construction and installation of new
equipment. He/she will be responsible for the repair
of equipment or the manufacturing of new
equipment as and when required.
Requirements
• Grade 12, completed apprenticeship technical
training program, Level 3 with Trade Diploma
and three (3) years relevant work experience as
an artisan, in the maintenance of equipment in a
mining environment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is a prerequisite.
• Code BE drivers’ license.
BOILERMAKER ASSISTANT X 2
Reporting to the Boilermaker Artisan, the
incumbent will assist with the manufacturing,
construction and installation of new equipment.
He/she will be responsible for cleaning of tools,
equipment, spares and workplaces and carry out
additional tasks if and when required.
• Grade 12, with three (3) years relevant work
experience in the maintenance of equipment in
a mining environment.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is a prerequisite.
