1. What are the causes of drug use and abuse?

- People's are deaths, illnesses, and disabilities are caused by substance abuse than by
any other preventable health condition. Prolonged drug dependence interferes with just
about every organ in the human body, and while different drugs have different
damaging effects.
2. What are the physical, emotional, and psychological effects of drug use?
- Drug addiction exacts an emotional toll on sufferers and their family members.
Addiction grows in a bed of pre-existing emotional turmoil, and the feelings of anxiety,
shame, guilt, and worthlessness that increase risk for addiction will only become worse
as the chemical dependency deepens. Drugs are chemical compounds that affect the
mind and body.
3. Identify and profound the causes why teenagers use drug or alcohol.
- Teenagers see lots of people consuming various substances. They see their parents
and other adults drinking alcohol, smoking or vaping and sometimes, trying other
substances. Also, a teenager’s social scene often revolves around drinking and using
marijuana. Sometimes friends urge one another to have a drink or smoke pot, but it’s
just as common for teens to start trying a substance because it’s readily available and
they see all their friends enjoying it. In their minds, they see drug use as a part of the
normal teenage experience.
4. What should be done to help a drug user recover from drug addiction?
- You may need to be patient. If the person isn’t ready to seek help, you can still
support them by trying to minimize the impact that their drug use has on them and
others around them. you can support them by being understanding about how they're
feeling, while encouraging them in the changes they've chosen to make.
5. What things can you suggest to prevent drug use and abuse among teens?
- I suggest to them They look for possible hobbies that do not harm their health such
as reading pocket books, watching tv and so on. I will tell them that it will not only help
their lives but it will also be detrimental to their health and it will not have a good effect
on themselves.
6. How effective is our government’s effort in fighting drugs?
- The government has taken many steps to get it, nowadays it is less used because of
the * To hang * implemented by our president and this is an effective step to fight
drugs in the Philippines.
