Target Area/Community

My target area can be found on the hidden parts of Niugan, Cabuyao City, Laguna. The area is
called Sitio Balakbakan, a squatter’s area which is situated near a landfill and is commonly
known as the den of thieves and criminals amongst the residents of nearby villages and
subdivisions.

The area is geographically famous for their location which is near a landfill (which caused
multiple deaths and was recently closed due to reports) and the never-ending mud and extreme
erosion going all over the place. But it is not just the environmental factors that matters-
sociological and other matters are also relevant in this case.
