The MDAT-GoG has released a no ce sta ng that they are aware of an increased
threat of piracy for the next 24 to 36 hours within an area bounded by the following
coordinates:
A) 02°30.00N 007°30.00E
B) 02°30.00N 010°00.00E
C) 00°00.00N 010°00.00E
D) 00°00.00N 007°30.00E
They have also recommended that the seafaring community (all Shipping) transi ng
this area to increase their vigilance and retain an enhanced local surveillance and
apply BMP WA procedures.
