HOW YOU
CAN HELP
We have been in communications with local
officials for Barren County areas impacted
by the storms, as well as the Bowling Green
Chamber of Commerce. Our communities
are providing overwhelming support. For
more information on donations and
volunteer opportunities please see below.

Volunteer Efforts
All volunteers interested in helping with the needs of the
tornado victims, meet at the WKU Center for Research &
Development (2413 Nashville Road).
Volunteers will be recieved Thursday and Friday from 8-
10:30AM and from 12:30-2:30PM. (If you are wanting to
help with clean-up bring tools and equipment.)
Donate
Bowling Green Parks & Rec - Selling "Tornado Victim Relief
Effort" Squares for $1 each. All money raised will go towards
helping Bowling Green tornado victims.
CenterPointe Church - Taking monetary donations to
purchase supplies for affected families. Checks are made to
CenterPointe Church Tornado Relief Fund.
Lowes - Through Friday, December 23rd, donation drop
boxess for clothing, kids clothing, household cleaning
supplies, household items, girl toys and boy toys.
Stuff the Bus - Donations will be used to support the needs
of families in Bowling Green City Schools and Warren
County Public Schools. Donations can be made using this

Toys for Tots - www.toysfortots.org or toys can be delivered to
Bowling Green Fire Department.
United Way of SCK - Tornado Crisis and Recovery Fund. 100%
of all contributions go back to organizations on the front line
serving immediate and long-term needs. www.UWSK.org.
Warren County Public Schools - accepting these items on
Friday, December 17th from 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. at the old
Cumberland Trace school, 830 Cumberland Trace Road, 42103.
Needed items include:
- Meals in a can (beef ravioli, chicken/dumplings,
spaghetti/meatballs, beef stew, chicken, tuna etc.)
- Baby items (formula, diapers, baby blankets, baby wipes, bibs,
bottles, pacifiers, baby food for all ages, etc.)
- Grab n go breakfast foods (granola bars, pop-tarts, etc.)
- Non-electric can openers
- Towels/washcloths
Warren County Public Schools Disaster Relief Fund for
Families: Online: https://gofund.me/032679ad to donate to
WCPS Disaster Relief Fund.
In-Person: You can also go to any Independence Bank branch to
donate to WCPS Disaster Relief Fund.
Local Donations
Donate
Simply Chic is donating a portion of all sales to families
affected through Saturday. It is also a dropoff point for
monetary donations.
Green Street Gifts is taking up monetary donations (see the
bucket on the front counter).
Roots + Ramble is donating a portion of the week's sales,
from both online and in-store) to the Team Western KY
Relief Fund.
Vintique on the Glasgow square has a hot homemade lunch
for anyone who is in need of a meal at this time.
Thornless Thistle is giving 5% of sales that occur this
Saturday to local families that have been impacted.
The Dive is hosting a live music fundraiser Thursday,
December 16, from 6-9PM CST where 100% of the money
raised will go to families in need here in the Cave City and
Park City areas.
Michelle's Consignment in Glasgow is a drop-off point for
donations.
All campuses of the Barren County School District will be
accepting items through Friday, December 17.
