Inspection Format
Every military personnel at an inspection must follow the given inspection format. Failing to do
so will result in a consequence decided by the inspection officer. Please follow the given and
correct format, and use it at every inspection you attend.
Steps
As the inspector walks up to you, you will salute and hold it, until the inspecting officer drops his
salute.
You will copy the following format and type it. The format is:
“[RANK] [USERNAME] of the [DIVISION], ready for inspection, sir!”
The inspector will most likely ask you questions, that this document will contain some of the
answers to.
It is paramount that you use grammar and end your sentence with sir or ma’am when
answering!

Army Basic Information
I. The Army logo, also known as the “War Office Seal”, contains a Roman cuirass (armor),
Vertical unsheathed sword, a pommel resting on the neck of that cuirass covered by the
Phyrican cap on the top, and on the left side contains an espontoon and the right side has
a musket with a bayonet, which crosses in satire. Two cannons, and a rattlesnake holding
the Army motto. Each of them has a significant meaning:
A. The Roman Cuirass: Symbol of Strength and Defense
B. The Weapons: Representative of Army implements
C. The Phyrican Cap, Rattle Snake and sword: Shows that the military will
always be ready to preserve and defend the United States.
II. Meaning and colors of the American Flag
A. White: Purity and Innocence
B. Red: Hardiness and Valour
C. Blue: Vigilance, Perseverance, Justice.
D. Stars: 48 stars for 48 states in America.
III. The United States Army was first founded on June 14th, 1755, by Commander-In-Chief,
George Washington, also the first President of the United States of America.
IV. The main motto for the Army is “This We’ll Defend!”, which depicts the constant
determination, devotion and readiness in an American soldier.
V. John Pershing was the second person to be named “General of the Armies”, the highest
rank within American military, for his outstanding services towards his country during
WWI. (Six-star general)
VI. Private Jacob Parrott was one of the first person to receive the Medal of Honor, which
was awarded on March 25th, 1863.
VII. The Battle of Gettysburg, was one of the most important battles during the American
Civil War in 1863.
VIII. The Army war cry is “HOOAH!”
IX. Loretta Walsh was the first woman to enlist in the military.

X. The first Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers was General Douglas MacArthur,
who commanded the Southwest Pacific against the Japanese and axis force.
XI. The first Supreme Allied Commander was General Dwight D. Eisenhower.
XII. The Army has seven core values:
A. Loyalty
B. Duty
C. Respect
D. Selfless Service
E. Honor
F. Integrity
G. Personal Courage
XIII. The Army colors are black and gold. Black symbolizing knowledge and jurisprudence.
Gold symbolizes achievement and honor.
