Notes:
a. The Pump performance and calculations included in Section 1.1 of this proposal are based on liquid being pumped with fluid
properties similar or equivalent to water, i.e. with a specific gravity of 1, at a temperature of 60 degrees F (15.6° C)
b. A minimum positive suction head equivalent to four feet of water above vapor pressure of the fluid being handled is required at
the inlet of the pump when the pump is equipped with maximum sized plungers and operating at maximum rated speed. This
suction head is in addition to atmospheric pressure and assumes the use of a suction dampener
c. Although noise level readings can be taken during a pump performance test, we cannot guarantee the results will be the same in
field applications. Many factors contribute to the actual operating noise level including but not limited to, piping design, drive
arrangement & type, fluid properties, pulsation dampener type, size and performance, etc. In general, the noise level of the pump
is less than the noise level of the drive unit and piping in operation.
