1. Review Whirligig Chapter 7 (35 mins)
a. Put the main events in the correct order
b. Match the picture with the event
c. Answer review questions

2. Preview Q Skills Unit 3 Reading #2 (30 mins)

a. Brainstorm technology in classroom
i. Assign the small groups
ii. Brainstorm about technology in the classroom based on students’ experiences
iii. Share their ideas in a whole group
b. Check title, pictures, and first/last paragraph (p.64 - 65)
i. Guess the main ideas of reading #2
c. Vocabulary Check (p.63)
i. Check the vocabulary students already know
ii. Add two more vocabulary
 “Invest (v.)”
 “Frustrate (v.)”

3. Homework (5 mins)
