REF: CALLING NOTICE FOR OFFICERS WHO HAD APPLIED TO JOIN THE
FEMALE SWAT TEAM.

Reference is made to DIG APS signal Ref No. JGO/AP/OUT/SIG/VOL.Zll|8l2l dated

1Oth December,202l on the above subject.

Following previous communication calling on female officers to voluntarily apply to join

the APS Women Swat Team a Sub Unit of RDU, a number of officers voluntarily
applied, and their subsequent application submitted to the DIG's office, (list attached). It
is in this regard that you are kindly requested to bring the following information to the
attention of all those under your command that;

A) The assessment and evaluation exercise will be held at the NPS Embakasi 'A'
Campus from Thursday, 6th January r2022. This one-week exercise is to ensure
that suitability of all the applicants hence they should adequately prepare for the
same.
B) The reporting date and time will thus be on Wednesday, 5th Januaryr2022by
1500hrs, for registration.
C) All the applicants are expected to bring with them their testimonials Academic
and other relevant documents.
D) Carry with them the following: -
i. Covid -19 test results to be done 48 hours before arrival and presented
at the Campus on arrival or a Covis-l9 Vaccination certificate.
ii. Two complete set of working serviceable uniform.
iii. Track suit
iv. Personal effects, including surgical face masks, enough to last the entire
one week.
v. Two (2) blankets and a pair of bed sheets, taking note of the January
weather in Nairobi.

 vi. A mosquito net and
vii. Smart civilian clothes for the evening.
E) All Applicants are reminded that this is a voluntary exercise and are expected
to exude highest discipline throughout the exercise and the Campus standing
orders will apply during the entire period.
