II.Purpose: To warn people that getting post-vacation blues is extremely harmful for
health and give some advice to overcome it.

1. Definition: Post-vacation blues is a type of mood that persons returning home
from a long trip may experience.
(After returning home, people realize how boring and unsatisfactory their normal
routine is, compared to the activities they did while on their vacation
-> It may result in some harmful effects)
2. Negative effects:
- On physical health:
+ Tiredness
+ Loss of appetite
- On mental health:
+ Strong feelings of nostalgia
+ Feeling anxious, worried or even depress.
3. Ways to overcome
- Catch up friends. (relive your vacation by sharing photos and stories with your
friends -> this can keep you distracted and lessen your attention on how you
wish you were still abroad)
- Exercising.
- Focus on new goals and have meaningful motivation.
