A. Briefly explain why reading is a wonderful human activity. The quotation below serves as a hint to
where you must emphasize your answer from.

We can be able to see with our eyes and that is how our brain works if we see something. By reading,
we are exposed to many wonderful things and it helps our imagination when it comes to creating and
thinking. Behind the eye that sees, carries a great idea and knowledge where we learn and see more. By
reading, we are able to expand and see the light of everything.

B. Choose from the four sets of reading comprehension tools and present how those become useful
aids to reading comprehension.

Italics, bold print, underlining and highlighting

These reading comprehension tools are useful because it can increase the comprehension rate of the
readers and it can make them focus more on specific words. By using these tools properly, it will make
the content more scannable to readers. They can easily identify words and phrases that carry more
weight in the content.

C. Write a brief essay on Becoming a Lifetime Reader in the light of the Reading Skills Ladder.

Becoming a lifetime reader is important and an advantage. What really defines a good reader is their
ability to be flexible readers. The fact that is that good readers do not attack every collection of words in
the same way. Reading is not an easy part because as a reader it engaged in cognitive process where
you use your mind to understand of what the text is all about. If you want to become a lifetime reader,
there are lot of things to consider just like you put reading as a daily routine. You may read on or before
breakfast, lunch and dinner it depends on your availability and in this way, there will be management of
time for reading and assurance that it will last and not be forgotten.
