Essay:
Artificial intelligence has become a hot-debated issue in recent decades since its
consequence has both positive and negative aspects to human life. From my perspective, AI is
one of the most promising technologies for growth today given its net positive benefits.
To start with, AI is undoubtedly an effective and reliable workforce and pivotal gadget
assisting human’s daily life. Machines don’t require frequent breaks and refreshments like
human beings, also, they are programmed to work for long hours and to perform the job
continuously without getting distracted or being fatigued. Furthermore, AI-based apparatuses
(equipment, tools or machines) programmed with suitable algorithms can deal with the data
calculations and information analysis more precisely than humans, which makes them
advantageous when it comes to working in mathematics-related domains.
Next, AI technology has had far-reaching applicability that greatly facilitate people’ life.
For instance, GPS is essential for the long drives and trips or Siri for iOS devices and Cortana for
Windows devices to help us out with their services. Another typical example of AI technology is
the shipper robots in America during the Covid-19 pandemic, they have supported plenty of
businesses in the delivery of commodities to customers.
In addition, AI robots can substitute humans in the handling of repetitive and dangerous
jobs. Repeated jobs are tedious and can be easily tackled with the help of AI algorithms by
virtue of them demanding much intelligence and creativity. Besides, by utilizing machines, we
can also expect the same kind of results irrespective of timings, season, etc, those we can’t
expect from human beings, which are highly beneficial for mass production. What is more,
robots can perform tasks that are hazardous to humans namely mining, space exploration, and
deep ocean discovery to expedite scientific researches.
In conclusion, although there exist some downsides of AI, I believe that developments in
this technology will bring huge advantages to our lives.
