There are numerous reasons why I chose Australia as my best choice to study
abroad. A lot of students want to study abroad just for the experience and
excitement of living and learning abroad. To me, the purpose of studying abroad is
not just gain experiences but also brightening my future. First and formost,
Australia is currently the third most popular place for international students, behind
United States and United Kingdom. I want to study there because I want to seize
an opportunity to know a new cultural diversity and try to understand more and
more about the locals and their traditional. Secondly, I want to be exposed to
Australia’s excellent education system. Schools and employers around the world
recognize degrees from Australian schools. Australian university graduates can
increase their chances of finding a well-paid jobs due to the impressive global
reputation of their education system. Futhermore, Australia’s standard of living is
one of the highest in the world. Living expenditure and tuition costs are usually
lower than they are in America and UK. Also, international students are able to
work part-time up to 20 hours per week while they study to pay for their living
costs. There are numerous possibilities to obtain a scholarship, which can help
students to decrease the costs of studying in Australia. Moreover, undergraduates
can choose between universities, colleges, English languages training and you also
can choose subjects you like to study that are practical for your dream job in the
future without having study all of the subjects in school. Thirdly, one of the most
amazing impact of this country for students around the world is the quality of
facilities in the whole country. Australia is at the forefront of new technology and
development. Students who study in Australia can enjoy the benefits of this
country’s technology evolvement. Last but not least, Australia is not very far from
Vietnam, it just takes about 4 hours to reach there by plane so I am not going to
have a jet lag. Due to its favourable distance, I can easily caught a plane and go
back to Vietnam when I finish my study in order to visit my family and friends. To
sum up, I would like to choose Australia to study abroad because of its convenient
distance, development technology, excellent education system, and high standard
of living.
