Hai Phong – A mighty, majestic port city with many beautiful scenes and the place where I
was born and raised. Hai Phong is located in the north of Vietnam. Hai Phong is bordered by
the sea, so there are many ports. Hence, this place was called the port city. Weather in Hai
Phong has features of the weather in the North. There are four seasons here. Spring is warm,
summer is hot and sunny. Autumn is cool and winter is cold. My favorite is the people here.
Hai Phong people are simple and gentle. Everyone is very friendly and caring for each other.
When the big cities are smoggy, the Air in Hai Phong is very fresh. Busy people and cars
give this city a bustling atmosphere. Coming to Hai Phong, you will enjoy delicious Banh My
Que with pate. A characteristic feature of this place is the color of phoenix flowers that glow
in the sky in summer. Every time I go away seeing phoenix flowers, I remember my beloved
Hai Phong. I love Hai Phong. I love everything here.

"Health before wealth" is a good idiom which I like best to explain that health is very
important. Nowadays, many people don't care about their own health. They don't know that a
healthy lifestyle plays an important role in our daily lives. So I will suggest some ways how
to keep a healthy life.
Firstly, everyone should have a balanced diet. Now, almost countries in the world have a
problem about obesity. Although they don't eat in the main meal, they eat snacks, chip and so
on. As I know, Japanese have a longevity because they have a balanced diet which they only
eat 3 main meals: breakfast,lunch and dinner and they also they restrict snacks or junk food.
Moreover, we should eat more vegetables and fruits.Those food groups contain necessary
vitamins. So our health will be improved.
Secondly, doing exercise is a good idea. We only spend little time on physical activities and
if we regularly practice every day, we will not only have a good health but we also prevents
some diseases. Besides, we will be slimmer and thinner. My body will be more beautiful.
Finally, it is important to sleep on time. If we stay up all night, our health will worse and we
will lose focus and not work effectively. Stay up late will cause a high risk of weight gain.
Night time is the most important time for hormone production to grow in height if we are
teenagers, we should sleep on time to increase our height.
In short, we should care more about our health to have a healthy life starting from the
moment.

I would like to talk about my routine. In the morning I usually get up at 6:00 AM. After
finishing cleaning in the morning , I have breakfast and go to school. I arrived at school at
6:30 am. I eat lunch at 11:30 and I often listen to music, watch movies and play games in my
free time. Sometimes, I read books and I often read at noon. I usually exercise every morning
and play soccer in the afternoon. I sometimes go to the movies with my best friends. My
friends and I often gather on Sundays to go for drinks or coffee. In the end, I usually sleep at
22:00 PM.

Every person is born with a birthday. My birthday last year was the first time I had a birthday
party. It was a great day. I think even if I experience many other birthday parties in the future,
I won’t forget that day. To prepare the party, my mother and I went to the supermarket
together and bought decorations and food. It took us a day to prepare. I invite a lot of friends.
My classmates, friends near my home, and loved ones. That day I made a buffet. Plates of
fresh and delicious fruit and snacks are beautifully laid out. I received a lot of gifts and
birthday greetings. In response to everyone’s enthusiasm, I sang to everyone my favorite
song. At 11 pm, everyone started to leave. After the party was over I cleaned up with my
mother and I still couldn’t help smiling. This is the first time I feel the joy of my birthday. I
want to thank mom for helping me have a great day.
