basis. To achieve the objectives of the study descriptive statistical analysis was
accomplished. Here multiple regression model (log-log model) was used to determine
goat farm income. Benefit-Cost ratio (Undiscounted) was calculated by dividing the total
return/gross return by the total cost. It is a relative measure, used to compare benefit
per unit of cost. Five explanatory variables namely: human labor cost (X 1), feed cost (X2),
veterinary expenses (X3), housing cost (X4), mating cost (X5), were used to explain the
factors that influence goat farm income. On the basis of this study, sample farmers
showed their opinion that higher production and income encouraged them to continue
goat farming.
