SUMILITERESIN PR-53804 I is a modified cashew novolak type powder.
It's generally apply for Brake Lining, Disc Pad and Clutch Facing.

C. Characteristics
SUMILITERESIN® PR-53804 I is powder novolac phenolic resin that contain
about 30 % cashew modified.

SUMILITERESIN PR-53804 I has hexamine content about 7.5% and middle
molecular weight.
®
SUMILITERESIN PR-53804 I is suitable to get soft and flexible properties, good
feeling of braking and improve friction coefficient.

D. Storage and Handling

®
SUMILITERESIN PR-53804 I is stable materials, it must be kept in close
containers for preventing accumulations of dust. This type is easy to be caking,
so store in a cool and dry place to avoid effects of heat, moisture and caking is
o
important thing. Optimum storage condition is preferably bellow 25 C and 60%
relative humidity. Handle and open container with care by wear safety glasses
with side shield of chemical safety goggles and protect the hands by impervious
gloves such as neoprene or rubber. The storage life is about 3 months.
