My name is Virág Scheller and I am a firs year psychology student at Eötvös Lorand
University in Hungary. First, I would like to say that I am really interested in your
courses.

There is a problem, however, and it is a financial one.

I’d love to attend some of your courses. But, as a low-income Hungarian student, I
simply don’t feel I can afford it. I’m writing to respectfully request an adjustment of my
financial aid award.

Here are some more details of my financial situation. Currently, my father works as a
car mechanic and he is the only source of income for my family of four, while my
mother is a housewife. The income my father receives weekly barely meets paying the
bills.

My parents unfortunately cannot afford to pay for my studies , but I still want to
improve. I have worked my way up and graduated with an excellent degree as a
behaviour analyst. My goals and my aspiration of becoming a clinical psychologist
have helped me push forward. I appreciate your time in reconsidering my financial aid
award. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

I want to become a clinical psychologist since I knew my mind. I want to heal and help
people to solve their problem. That is for example why I am interested in your
Psychological First Aid course. And I think that I could use this knowledge in the
future.

Also I want to research and improve psychology. I believe that these courses will give
me some extra information about the topics, I am interested in. Mostly because they are
clinical psychology related.

I apply for this Financial Aid because I think these courses will teach me so much. I
believe that they are going to help me became the professional clinical psychologist
who I always wanted to became.
