Course Description:
This subject consists of four units related to mechanics, heat and thermodynamics, optics, and
magnetism necessary to develop background in physics that supports for the understanding and
practicing the related engineering works.
Course Objectives:
After the completion of this course, students will be able to explain the basic concepts related to the
followings and apply them in the field of the related engineering area.
1. Mechanics.
2. Heat and thermodynamics.
3. Optics.
4. Magnetism.
