The book tells the story of Bilbo Baggins, a Hobbit, who lived in his

deepest hole, there he lived a quiet and peaceful life, until one day he received
an invitation from Gandalf that would change his life suddenly.

Gandalf invites Bilbo to be a thief, and help take back the treasure on an
adventure with the dwarves . Everyone in the group was already confident
about Bilbo's choice, which left Bilbo upset at the moment. Right at the first exit
of the group, they encounter three trolls, who take everyone in the group except
the sorcerer, but in the end Gandalf controlled the situation. In the place where
the trolls were, some weapons were found, in which they take some and Bilbo
chooses one to keep with him.

When they were crossing the misty mountains, due to a great

snowstorm, they are forced to take shelter in a cave, where they are imprisoned
by goblins who live around the mountain. Luckily the group manages to escape
off the mountain, but they leave Bilbo behind. Bilbo ends up finding a ring that
he puts in his pocket, and keeps wandering through the mountain tunnels, until
he finds Gollum who wanted to devour him, and to know the end of it, a riddle
contest was made, finally Bilbo wins the contest, but Gollum wanted to eat it
even though he lost, so Bilbo uses the ring that makes people invisible to
escape from Gollum and so Bilbo finds a tunnel that takes him out of the
mountain, and soon the group meets again.

In the flowers of Trevaterra, the dwarves were trapped again in the giant
spider web, luckily Bilbo went to save them with his magic ring and his sword,
where Bilbo gives the name "Ferrão" to his sword. After a while they go to
Aldeia do Lago and Bilbo infiltrates the mountain to talk to the dragon Smaug,
who involuntarily ends up revealing his weakness. When Smaug leaves the
mountain to destroy the village, he is hit by an arrow at his weak point, which
came from an archer who knew Smaug's secret, and with that the dragon dies.
As a result of the monster's death, the locals went to the mountain after the
treasure, as they said they had a right in relation to the peoples' losses, but
Thorin, the dwarf leader decides that he will not give them anything. This
generated a great fury in those who wanted part of the treasure. What took the
focus out of all this, was an army of Goblins and W args marching to the
mountain, and with that a battle started, but in the end the army of good won
with the help of Beorn and the eagles.

At the end of this whole adventure, Bilbo saw him again in Hobbiton,
where he suffered some discrimination from respectable hobbits, but that was
not relevant for Bilbo, as he was already happy to have returned home, and
also to have participated in this incredible adventure adventure.
