Site Inspection Briefing

Overview

Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Inspections are carried out on all our client sites by any
Musk personnel (varying between Administration to Electrical/Mechanical Engineers).

A standard “check/prompt” list already exists that provides a guide to the person carrying out the
inspection.

The outcome of these inspections are summarised and reported to top management on a monthly
basis.

Requirements

A benefit would be for additional specific high risk activities e.g. confined space working, would have
a more detailed additional prompts.

The system needs to be interactive so notes and multiple photographic evidence can be logged
against any interventions made.

The application needs to be user friendly and usable on both phone, tablets and desktop.

For reporting and business overviews a dashboard would be required.

Visual aids, especially around reporting, is a must.

Reporting

Reporting will be a very important element of the system.

Inspection Report Content:-

 Intervention comments and supporting photographic evidence

 Overall number of interventions raised
 Any additional comments made i.e. positive culture witnessed onsite

Monthly Overview Reporting:-

 No. of inspections completed

 No. of observations per inspection
 No. of observations in each area, per site, per month
 KPI stats per site (whether they have hit their target or not)
 Overview as a business i.e. what is the current biggest issue on sites (e.g. not wearing PPE)
 Monthly / Yearly comparative on stats
