For replacement of pneumatic tubing

Hydraulic Governor Type 1115 R - 4G

WARNING

! Replacing the tubing inside the governor is only to be done if the en-
gine is stationary! Failing to do so may result in serious injury and / or
damage.

The 1115R— 4G governor is

equipped with a boost pres-
sure fuel limiter. The fuel lim-
iter can be electrical overrid-
den.

To override the fuel limit an

external air pressure is ap-
plied to the fuel limiter servo.
The pneumatic valve is situ-
ated inside the governor and
connects the fuel limit servo
with either the boost pressure
connection, or the external air
pressure connexion, both at
the side of the governor.

The internal air connections,

which has been laid out for a
maximum pressure of 10 bar,
are made by means of flexible
tubing and push-on fittings.

It has been found that if a higher external air pressure is applied or if the ambient
temperature is very high, the tubing may burst. Because of this the specification of
the tubing is changed.

To replace the tubing replacement set RS069-1115R, which includes the tubing
and a gasket for the top cover, is available.

Note: The “old” tubing is black, the new tubing is blue.
