TY Week 7

Dear Diary:
It’s the last 3 days of school so this diary entry is going to be short.
First class on a Monday morning was Japanese where we finished off our comedy
movie “Water boys” and I really liked it. We then discussed it as a class the
difference between a Japanese comedy and a western comedy and there were many
differences which was interesting to research on.
Green Schools was next were we watched the movie “the Christmas Chronicles”. It
was my first time watching that movie an I really enjoyed it.
After break we had English where we played some more quizzes and the teacher
gave us more sweets! My lunchbox was full of sweets by the end of the day!
Mathematics was next where we relaxed and listened to some classic Christmas
songs. We had to sing quietly because there were classes going on next door.
After lunch we had double tourism where we worked on our websites for the while
two hours, which was a really good thing because I had to put in some final
touches.
Tuesday morning, we had our last drama class where we had to think of a movie
and then act it out. Kind of similar to what we did last week but this one was more
interesting. My group and I thought of a film about Santa’s daughter and how she
is training to become the next Santa but we find out that she doesn’t want that
responsibly. Instead, she runs of and falls in love with Jack. In the end Santa
realizes that his daughter is special in her own way. It was really fun coming up
with the idea and then acting it out.
Next, we had Wellness where we recapped what we had learned over the module
and it was very interesting the stuff that we learned.
After wellness we had computer studies where I finished the test and I was
reviewing my mistakes. After Christmas I will do my cert test and then movie on
to the next course.
After lunch we had our last double sign language where we recapped on what we
learned and then we started to play some sign language games which were so fun.
My team came second so we did really well. The games where a combination of
charades, heads up and guess the celebrities that the teacher was signing. They
were all really fun to play.

Wednesday was our last day and we got to dress up all festive and Christmassy.
There was only 6 people in our class including me which was what I had suspected
or even less. Firstly, we watched a video that the 6th years put together and it was
so good. I was really happy that was in the video as well. We then joined another
class so we can play the quiz. My team came in tied second with another team but
that’s ok, it doesn’t matter who wins at least we had fun.
