What research variable did you use?

In Conceptual framework we have independent and dependent variables. What aligned in

independent variables is the socio-demographic profile of the respondents. While on the
dependent variable is the effectiveness of Modular learning approach and Academic
performance.

What sampling method will you use?

We will use the slovin formula.

How will you gather data?

We will gather data using online questionnaire, due to some restrictions and protocols that we
follow nowadays because of pandemic we need to gather data through giving online
questionnaire to the respondents.

Do you think your proposal study is timely and useful?

Yes, it is timely and useful, it will enlighten the learners’ parents and the teachers how it can
them, especially for those learners who live in a remote area which don’t have a stable internet
connection. That modular learning is the easiest way where they can still learn, express their
ideas, and improve their skills despite of the pandemic and the struggles we’re facing nowadays.

What is slovin formula?

Slovin’s formula is used to calculate an appropriate sample size from a population. Statistics is a
way of looking at a population’s behavior by taking a sample. It’s usually impossible survey
every member of a population because of money or time.

Descriptive research aims to accurately and systematically describe a population, situation or

phenomenon. It can answer what, where, when and how questions, but not why questions. A
descriptive design can use a wide variety of research methods to investigate one or more
variables.

ANOVA- is helpful for testing three or more variables. It is similar to multiple two-sample t-
tests. However, it results in fewer type I, errors and is appropriate for a range of issues. ANOVA
groups differences by comparing the means of each group and includes spreading out the
variance into diverse sources.
