data base on the available training institutes in the state. The list is
prepared district wise where in institutes (both Government and non-

Foreword
Administrative Training Institute, Mysore is the apex training
institute of the Government of Karnataka and catering to the training
needs of Group 'A' and Group 'B' officers since 1967. Through a network of
22 DTI’s the training needs of C & D Groups are also met.
The ATI’s need for networking among various Training Institutions

was felt since long. It has now endeavored to compile the list of Training
Institutes in Karnataka. This effort, we expect, would help Institutions to
utilize the expertise and services of each others. This list includes
Institutes in Karnataka run by Government, PSU’s and NGO’s. Totally
303 institutes have been listed. Apart from this address of other State
Apex Training institutes have been listed.
I appreciate the efforts put in by Sri.R.N.Kumar, Faculty (Behavioral

Science), Smt. S. Shubhashri, Senior Programmer and Sri. Nagaraja,
Gazette Manger, who have done a tremendous work in putting together
