Theme, Tone & Genre

It is telling a story of how an art piece can be made. The key message is that creativity
can be fun and colourful but you can also get stuck. It's not always an easy straight
forward process.
People will feel curious as to what is being created with all this colour. In a similar way to
satisfaction videos.

Characters
Yes, ordinary people who are gathering items or taking photos.

Target Audience
Those who want to create art or paint. Probably more female.

Rationale
That it's relatable with the getting stuck as well as stopping &
starting. It is also eye catching with using colours and your are
following the story through of what happens to these colours.
Its unpredictable.
Visual Elements
Gathering Inspiration
This can be footage of someone taking pictures or gathering items. This can be
filmed outside, they could be taking pictures of colourful things or gathering
craft items or magazines for ideas. It can be a full body shot or it can be a shot of
their hands. This can either be looking down on the hands from the persons
perspective or a side on shot. Props needed will be a camera for the person to
hold.

Searching for your Idea

This can be footage of a child looking through binoculars at the park or an
adult looking out at some beautiful scenery through binoculars. A loose close
up shot or a medium shot which is back lit. If it's an adult looking at scenery it
could be an over the shoulders shot. This will then end in footage of a
kaleidoscope with all the colours changing.
Props needed: binoculars & kaleidoscope.
Location: Park or beautiful viewpoint.

Visual Elements
Colourful Rain
This will use a light box and either a watering can or tins on string with holes in
so that either coloured water or paint can be put in there to create the colourful
rain. The shot will possibly be shot from up through the light-box/glass so the
rain is coming towards the camera or shot downwards looking onto the light-box
watching the rain fall.

Audio Elements
- Crunching paper sounds
- Relaxing music
- Sounds of the item (ASMR)
