Background of the System

In traditional libraries the students/user have to search for books which are hassle process and there

is no proper maintenance of database about issue/fines. the overall progress of work is slow and it

is impossible to generate a fast report.

The librarians have to work allotted for arranging, sorting books in the books shelfs. at the same

time, they have to check and monitor the lend/borrow book details with fine. it is a tedious process

to work simultaneously in different sectors. Mini-Library system will assist the librarians to work

easily.
Mini-library system is an application that can be uphold the records related to book purchase, stock

maintenance, book issues, book return and all requirements for the library to manage day to day

operation

This program assists in the creation and maintenance of a database for book information such as

author name, student name, edition and status. this program

Handles workout program library tasks such as searching for information available. Its purpose

is to minimize the amount of manual labor performed by librarians.

The mini-library system supports the librarians to encounter all the issues concurrently. The user

need not to stand in queue for ling period to return/borrow a book from the library. The single PC

contains all the data in it. The librarians have to assess the system and provide and an entry in it.

Though mini-library system the librarian can find the book in the bookshelves.

The basic features of the created mini-library system include the following:

• maintain records of the books (barrowed)

• search for the book

• catalog books (add, update, remove)

Functionalities of the system

The functionalities of mini-library system are to supplement reading and writing instruction both

in and out of the librarian, to that end, stock library with books to aid student learning across all

daily curriculum subjects. A well- designed classroom library provides a space student to learn

books and book selection by making mini library is resources for all student to read intently on a

daily basis to meet their interests such by reading book.

• This application can be used by any library to automate the process of the manually

maintaining the records to the subject of maintaining the stock of book issues

• This program is helpful to tract all the book and library information and to rate the maximum

number of books, and the software will be able to handle all the necessary

Technology is rapidly evolving the library must improve its human procedure for registering book

borrowing to ensure that each transaction is accurate.

Aside librarian follow the traditional tracking method to keep track of everyone comes into the

library staff keeps track of the borrower’s details as well as the specifics of the book.
